Help

Everyone needs help – even those who are too proud to admit it.
Whether you are troubleshooting a failed electronic, finding directions, trying a new recipe, or dealing with an emotional problem; help might make the difference between succeeding or failing.
I will be the first to confess that I rarely ask for help. In fact, I loathe asking for help. Like most men, I prefer handling business on my own. I prefer “proving” that I can do it.
But every so often, I hit the wall and realize that asking for help is the smart play. But here is the thing – asking for help is only smart if you ask the right person.
Some people can give you misleading information either intentionally or unintentionally. Which is why I love the following words from the Psalmist;
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1, KJV
Hallelujah!
I can always count on God’s help. He is an EVER-PRESENT help in trouble! And His help will never get you in trouble – only out of trouble.
The best prayer you can make in times of trouble is just one word – HELP!
What are you struggling with this season? Have you asked God for help?
PRAYER:
Father in heaven, please help me ___________ (fill the blank). In Jesus name, I pray, Amen
